Think Tank Thursday

This week over at Poets United,  I used the word Bliss for prompt #105.   I can think of so many things that make me feel bliss.  I guess if I had to narrow it down, it would be nature. It inspires me in so many ways, it calms n' soothes me and excites my muse.  What does bliss mean for you?!

*It's a micro drop of water balanced in the middle of a single dandelion seed head.  Click the above name and you will discover how it was done!  It is amazing, isn't it!

I see colored light, like stained glass
reflect across the ebony sky
your pale freckles are the map of the constellations
 in the pale moon's light

fairy dust falls
it cascades like a silk scarf
Thick ribbons of  lime green, brilliant blue, n' gold
flutter, flirt and dance
like butterfly wings

 adventures in turquoise dreams
 release tiny red heart balloons
 bordered by mermaid's hair
a meadow adrift by the sea

a robin's egg sky gathers ideas like stars
A green heart grows in a field of mundane
filled with intoxicating dragonflies
   they lift like champagne bubbles

  guided by nature's muse
 I have new eyes
aura of violet light dances like wishes
     among the quilted dreams
  I soar

I enjoyed your poem, Ella. I do think that nature definitely helps us see things with new eyes...if we really look at what is around us in our world. Butterfly wings, robin's egg: each so intricate to observe and so inspirational.

"Among the quilted dreams I soar." I'm going to be thinking about that line during my run today.

Thank you!

This is SO beautiful, kiddo! especially "among the quilted dreams, I soar". Wow. My week attacked me and I didnt have a chance to write to this prompt.........it is a good one and my response would have been nature, as well.

Lovely bliss Ella.
So many lovely lines but this stood out:
'your pale freckles are the map of the constellations
in the pale moon's light'
Beautiful.
I'd have to say love and nature is mine too.
I haven't had chance to write to this prompt yet but, am about to today.
