Time of Year

The sun is shining and my mood is lifted, yet I am fighting a cold. A cold that has been swarming in my home, for 3 weeks. Hubby had it, son had a touch of it and daughter has been ill, since this weekend. I have been fighting it, taking extra vitamins, eating more produce and drinking Naked Juice.  I need to try my new juicer.  I can't have a lot of carbs and juice is like liquid sugar. I have been having a small glass, after a meal.  Do you drink Naked Juice?  I didn't say drink juice naked...lol

I woke up feeling like the Keebler elves were tap dancing on my head and someone had varnished my throat.   I always find keeping positive helps. I have immune issues and always get uneasy. Son goes to college and works at germ central(A grocery store). I know not as bad as a hospital, right...wrong. Think of all the sick kids, wiping their noses and touching the grocery carts. The sneezing, augh...
At least at the hospital there are gloves and face masks, but not at the local supermarket. I am glad they have wipes out for you to wipe down your cart. I'm not a Germaphobe, but when you can't fight, without antibiotics,it is best to do what you can.   Dr.'s do not give out antibiotics, like they use to.

I did manage to work on a story today and had to do a few prompts, but nature was calling. No, not the juice. It was 73 degree here today.  Shocking yes, tomorrow is going to be 78 and then back down to normal seasonal temperatures. Me, I would prefer to have normal, seasonal weather. I don't like the ups and downs. Saturday night is suppose to be 32.  I wished I had been a weather woman. I could be wrong all the time and still earn a good wage!

I also visited Paradise today, don't you just love it when ordinary places have unique names. It is a little local grocery store. Yes,  I drank Naked Juice, Keebler elves visited me and I visited Paradise. All n' all a good day.  I also worked on some new photos for my Etsy store.  Do you have any quirky, unique stores, restaurants you frequent?  Care to share?  Do you like Naked Juice and do the Keebler Elves visit you?   Okay, you guessed right....I have a fever, but really it all is true ;D

I will be having a give away soon~  Y'all come back now....maybe the Keebler Elves will visit~

I'm glad my husband does most of the grocery shopping, although he has been known to bring home a cold now and then. Not often, however, as he has an outstanding immune system, unlike mine.
I'm not sure what a Keebler elf is, so I'm pretty sure they don't know what I am, either.
Hope you're feeling better soon, which is the very same thing I wish for myself, so you can be sure it's sincere.
Luv, K

Ooh, those elves make cookies. Want to introduce them to me? Tell them I'm your friend?
Luv, K (again)

oh, my that NAKED JUICE sounds delightful ;) My country is famous for producing fruit juices, and foreigners are usually shocked when they see the variety of fruit juice we have, since most of you drink just orange and grape juice :)
My own fave are blueberry juice and pear juice.

Well Ms Ella you had quite an eventful day. We had nice sunny weather here too and I couldn't resist getting out and enjoying some yesterday evening. I haven't heard of Naked Juice before.

I was thinking the same thing: LOTS OF WATER. Even when ill, you are busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger........I cant believe your temperatures. Here it is raining cats and (wet) dogs and I have to go out in it. Yick! Would rather stay here and play. I love your sun poster above.......it reminds me of that beautiful quote: in the midst of winter, I found in me an invincible summer, cant remember who said it......get better, kiddo......
