C is for Cardboard
I tend to use what I have on hand, to wrap a gift. Sometimes this means you might get an uniquely wrapped present. (Sorry my C post ran a bit long).
No, this isn't a commercial, but I do love Mr. Clean's Magic Sponges. I love their boxes :D
I used Gesso to paint the box-it makes the cardboard studier.
I love sponge brushes. You can get a whole bag real cheap, at your big box store.
I usually have scrapbook paper on hand. If you don't you could use seed catalogs, magazines, or wrapping paper-lol
I am joking!
Tear the paper into strips. Now apply the Gesso on the back, use it like glue and line the cardboard box. Next you will apply a coat on top, to seal your gift tote.
See :D
I skipped ahead, but I'm suppose to keep this short.
I cut out a felt oval, with pinking sheers and glued it onto the front. I added some Washi tape. Glued some trip on the top. I added a bit of Forsythia(silk type).
I was in a hurry- I did touch up my gift tote with paint, but I wanted to show you, I punched holes on both sides to add ribbon for the handle. You could use wire, twine-whatever you like.
I submitted a few of them to GreenCraft magazine-no word yet. Yes, this is also a Magic Sponge box~
For each letter I am trying to showcase another blogger. Most of us know him as Captain. I think of him lately as Captain Cool-his initials are AC. Alex Cavanaugh rocks cool, with his Triology. And soon to be released, CassaStorm will be available in September. He is known for his Ninja like skills, his kindness in the blogging community, and his music.

It doesn't even really matter. I'd want to just hang them up as decorations. And sponge brushes are the best, I use them for everything.
And it's very cool that you are showcasing other bloggers! I'm so happy to be back in the blogging world. I hadn't realized how much I missed everyone. :)
