Enchanted Muse

My Morning Glory Cafe-I sacrificed this chair for the glories to cling and climb.  The comfy chairs are on the other side of the table.  I wish you could stop by for some tea.

Yes, one can't have a good story-I mean yard without a bit of poison lurking.

This is Morning Glories' cousin Moonflower.  She only appears at night.

Yes, we need an enchanting prince I mean main character in our tale. I caught this toad in a humble abode.

Good bye sweet prince-do drop by again for a thimbleful of tea.  How about  tomorrow morning at my Morning Glory Cafe.

I am being silly, but thought I would show you where my muse loves to linger.  Poor thing, her penmanship is dreadful.   Her notes look like chicken scratch.  So, I have to drag her back indoors and make her type.   Where does your muse linger?!

I love your photos - and your banner is a knockout today! My Muse? hangs out in cobwebby corners. She is very elusive!
Wonderful shots, Ella! Welcome to Wild Kingdom. It's been so damp that we had mushrooms all over our lawn last week.

What a lovely, imaginative post, Ellen! My morning glories are not terribly prolific this year; I envy you yours.

Here's one of my favorite garden quotes, found in a magazine:

What is the most important item in your garden? "A small staircase used by the frog to climb in and out of the well."

Here's a non-garden quote, but it stirs my imagination and will most likely stir yours: (from H.E. Todd)

"The first thing you must do," said the fairy, "is to go back into the sitting room and find my magic wand. I'm useless without it."

Beautiful. I love the toad in its humble abode. Almost sounds like poetry. LOL
My muse? Believe it or not, my muse hangs out at my keyboard, but only late at night. Living in a daytime world is very difficult for her.

I love the fourth one! Mr. Frog is cute. We get those stuck to our back door sometimes. Drives our cats nuts.

Your fairytale garden muse is wonderful. My muse lurks in the most unexpected places and is always popping out to surprise me.

Beautiful! No wonder that's where your muse hides.

Your stories and pictures make me smile.
Oh Ella, this post made me feel the innocence brought forth by imaginings, childlike. It made me smile because I have several 'spots' that I slumber in and envelop myself as my muse.

Gracias for bringing out if but for a moment the gentleness of innocence
