Zentangle Art

Kerry of Imaginary Garden asked us to write a poem, based on Magic Realism.  My first thought was a friend of mine's art.  She is a talented artist; she has opened my eyes to this fascinating art form called Zentangle. I know you A-Z blogging challengers are lurking, lol.   Renee Zarate is a talented artist with a magical view.

Quilted memories arrive in cobwebbed dreams
wake my muse to detangle my thoughts
mosiac view in a mindfield of madness
games of chance
on the path of Pods and Bleeding Hearts
Ripples follow Alice into Abacus
Imagine perfect imperfection
Dream daymares during the night
Create curiouser Laydee and Chugh
Oshun tears poured into Dingbat tea
Believe in Beedles, Crossroads and Treasure
note the wonder in every day
a leap of faith in reflected view
turn the page to your next adventure
remember your Morels ;D

Her art is amazing, isn't it!
A lot of words in this poem are Zentangle Designs~

I do love those paintings, the second one reminds of a really cool playing card. "Dream daymares during the night" really caught my attention and I loved how "Alice in Wonderland" your whole piece was!

Revisiting this poem today, Ella. It really quite magical. I do especially like the beginning

Quilted memories arrive in cobwebbed dreams

which really draws me right into the poem!

I'm not sure how I may have missed this poem - unforgivable if it was for one of my challenges! I am such an Alice fan, so I adore the picture representation of the story and how you played with the words to bring that world of possibility to light.
I liked the rhyme of "muse" and "view." This is my favorite line: "mosiac view in a mindfield of madness."
