Sssh, don't tell... and Giveaway~

Come here...I have something to show you.  Some inner green goodness.  Didy you know the heart Chakra in yoga is green!   I love that, because our heart is always growing!   Here is a bit about the Chakra:

Green chakra relates to love/self love - the ability to give and take unconditionally. When balanced we are able to give love and also to love and nurture ourselves.  Helps relax muscles, nerves, and thoughts. Cleanses and balances our energy, to give a feeling of renewal, peace and harmony. Green connects us to unconditional love and is used for balancing our whole being.
positive aspects of green
            - compassion
            - generosity
            - harmony/balance
            - loving
negative aspects of green
            - indifference
            - jealousy
            - miserly
            - bitterness

I'm making some items for Christmas that are very green!

*Oops, I thought I saved a holiday gift card.  I bet, I cut it up, lol.

 * via Starbucks

I was at Starbucks  this weekend and spied the new, holiday gift cards.  I grabbed a few. Ssssh, don't tell... I had an idea...
I have seen earrings made out of credit cards. Have you?  I thought these would be intriguing.  My daughter has a few friends she swaps gifts with every year.  I always try to create something. We buy something to go with it or tuck a gift inside.  Most of my daughter's friends frequent Starbucks.  So, this is my plan.  I am making pouches out of coffee bags, earrings out of gift cards and adding a gift card, so they can indulge in a holiday treat,  their choice.

They really do have a greenish, silver look to them.

 *My daughter was my model~

In light of green being about recycling n' giving...I'm giving a set of earrings, a pouch and gift card away to YOU!

Just leave a comment and tell me what your favorite drink is.  If you guess my fav ,I will count that as another chance to win.  I have 3 favorites, so your chances are good.  For each correct guess, I will add your name to the hat.

For all you tea lovers, Starbucks is opening a Tazo Tea shop.  I happen to love both coffee n' tea.   Do you love coffee, tea or Hot Chocolate?  Remember tell me what is your favorite...  And if you guess mine one or all three, you will have more chances to win.

On December 5th, I will announce the winner!

Good luck and think green.... I will be sharing some Green Christmas tips with you, soon... :D

Oh, here is a peek of some other green things I am making...

Yes, a Christmas tea, lol I mean tree

and

*a recycled, green bird~

No, he isn't done yet....I will show you the bird and pouch later on.
I have to go back to the FROG-my workshop and get busy!

Those are credit cards in her ears? Your creativity astounds me.
And you know what Kermit says - it's not easy being green.

Those are amazing earrings! What a truly touching gift. My youngest nephew's favorite color is green and we painted his room a very bright green. I also gave him green Christmas lights and helped him string them around his room so he has green lights all year. I have blue, my favorite color.

I think you probably like the chai tea. Me, my fave is the Green Tea Frappuccino.

You are amazingly clever, girl! I love those earrings and that tea tree is so cool that I may have to steal the idea! My fav Starbucks drink is currently the Salted Caramel Macchiato. My guess is that you like something decadent like that too. Or maybe you're a Chai fan?

I love coffee --- the richer, the better! I imagine you do, too. These are very cool gifts, Ellen! Let me guess your favorites; they're mine, anyway -
1. the new salted caramel macchiato
2. peppermint mocha
3. green chai tea, either hot or iced

You really come up with the neatest ideas Ella. I'm guessing one of your favorites is Cherry Coke, which I happen to like as well ;) Though this time of year I find myself sipping on cappuccino.

Wonderful ideas, Ella. I am thoroughly impressed. I would like to put you in charge of making my Christmas gifts. I think I may steal the 'green' theme. I will guess one of your drinks is a low fat latte!!
