H is for Heart

I know I could write about recycling the heart-we all could!  Instead, I am going to show you some recycled hearts I have made.

Some of you will remember my wax paper heart with the dried Baby's Breathe.

Then I made a mussel heart out of blue jeans, with acrylic paint and Mica.

The latest heart I made was from a left over candy box-wanna see?!

I spray painted my candy box green.  I then layered the inside with tiny brown candy papers.  I added some moss and bulbs.   I covered the top with moss, a pretty flower and bow.  For some reason I can't find the photo?!  I know you get the general idea and with Mother's Day coming up. a Blooming Heart might be a great gift idea~  YOU could even toss in some garden gloves, a magazine,  and a flat of flowers!

Another fun heart is Hart over at Confessions of a Watery Tart! She writes books from her bathtub and blogs in her basement!

Hart has her second Cozy book coming out! Be sure to check out the amazingly talented Hart ;D!!

Bother! Only your shell heart would open on my computer. I'll try again later. I do so admire Helen Keller and love that quote you've used.
