Somerset Life

I am thrilled to have my butterfly garland featured in the current issue of Somerset Life.   There is so much heART in this publication.  It embraces autumn treasures and offers inexpensive ideas n'  thoughts for the upcoming holidays.  They seem to suddenly sweep in, once we turn the calendar to October.  Anita Joyce touches your heart sharing a story about loss and creating new traditions n' chapters in one's life.   Vivienne McMaster  shares an uplifting view on a soul mission to Be Your Own Beloved.    Madelyn Mulvaney reminds us in her article,  Worth the Risk, as she shares her journal and  thoughts while sailing the sea.

Autumn transforms my mood.  I do get a bit homesick, but I have a few cures for that. Serenitea helps!

Here Vivienne shares her soul's mission.

"Real friendship, like real poetry, is extremely rare-and precious as a pearl."
~Tahar Ben Jelloun

I have found real friendships through blogging. It is a gift to find so many generous, good-hearted souls in this community!

I want to give a shout out to a fun blogger and great friend Yolanda Renee-her book, "Memories of Murder" is book #2 in the Detective Quaid mysteries.

Yolanda has an adventurous spirit. She use to live in Alaska, where she hiked the Brooks Range and learned to sleep under the midnight sun.  (I use to live there-you either love it or hate it.)  I think we can tell how it affected Yolanda.  Alaska is the setting in both of her books.

She claims her vivid imagination as a blessing, a habit, a hobby, a calling and sometimes a curse.

Renée now resides in Central Pennsylvania with her husband, two sons, and Boston terrier, Patches.

Congrats Yolanda!

Nick is a professionally trained editor and proofreader, with a background in journalism. He will use his skills to help you get your text in the best possible shape it can be.  He also is a writer and passionate about stories.  So stop by and see all the services Nick has to offer.

Ellie, do you know how hard it is to get published in a magazine? and you have done it now several times - which shows you EXACTLY how unique and beautiful your creations are. I love the butterfly photos..........makes me want a cup of tea just looking at it!!!! Way to go!

I am super thrilled for you.
Having a copy of Somerset Life in my hands makes me breathe slower, settling into the gentle spirit of this most wonderful publication but then to spy your article brings extra joy.
You so deserve this recognition from Stampington.

Wow, so unexpected. I came over to say congrats on your lovely butterfly garland in the magazine Somerset Life, and find a tribute to me an my books. Thank you!

That is true of Alaska, love it or hate it, but I've found very few visitors that hate it - except those raised there and wanting to explore the rest of the world. Although to be honest after spending a full six months on the north slope I couldn't wait to find a warmer climate! LOL

Thanks Ella!

I so glad to see you back to the traditional Blogger format. It's easier to comment on.

Most of my current friendships are with other bloggers. Since I don't see my old home friends much anymore we're out of touch. But it is nice when I do get to see them or talk to them on the phone.
