S is for Self Sabotage and T is for Trust

S is for Self-Sabotage.

I sometimes get in my own way. This nagging voice of doubt loops unkind thoughts throughout my day.  Sometimes, I can be my worst enemy.  Avoidance-happens.

I feel bad-then panic, anxiety and exhaustion join in.

Debbie Downer's dialogue plays over in my head. I need to stop the chatter and reset my inner voice.  The I'm not good enough, or this will never work have worn out their welcome.

I find to break these stream of consciousness-I work on something I am good at.  It reminds me what I have to offer.

How do you prevent self sabotage?

T is for Trust and thundershowers.
Our internet was down and out due to the weather-yesterday.   So, I decided to combine S and T.
I hope the weather is good where you are~

Trust

Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement. Golda Meir

The weather here in L.A. is great as usual. I'd like to see a good thunderstorm with rain for days. I don't think it's going to happen though.

I sabotage my own dreams and plans more than I like to admit. Fear and doubt are my worst enemies and they often deceive me into failure.

I'm in one of those self-sabotaging moments. Life has taken a downturn, nothing I did, but the blame still falls on me. I throw it across my shoulders and carry the blame because I do it better than anyone else. Yep, that's my secret power - I take the blame no matter what. LOL
I need an attitude adjustment, a hike, a break, or a slap up side the head! Most likely all! :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

It wears one off the enemy inside. It is not knowing exactly coming or going. It takes its toll quite often on me especially when nothing seems to connect on certain occasions.Rightly said Ella!

Always fun when the weather takes down the Internet.
I try not to talk to myself too much. That helps.

I do a lot of self talk. Positive self talk. I also pray and ask God for help.

I think we're all sabotaging ourselves in this way or the other, that is what they say that happiness is in our own hands

Hi Dezzy! Yes, I agree, for the most part! That childhood song comes to mind-"I have got the whole world in my hands."

Shelly-I think I need more positive talk~ I like that Shelly~

Hank-Yes, it does take a toll on us! I believe we can be our worst enemy-sometimes~ I hate that feeling! I hope you are doing well-right now~

Yolanda-I am so, sorry! You need a hug, the beach, some time out for you~ I am sorry to hear you are Wonder Woman-it is tough to be this person. I believe a lot of mom's do this~ Hugs

Lee-I am sorry to hear this! I think we need to write love letters to ourselves-when we are having a great day. Save the letter for days like you described~

Ella, I can relate far too often I listen to the negative critic inside but have to change the tune by reminded myself what God's Word says. I really like the quote you shared by Golda Meir. Sometimes all we have is the tiniest of sparks but oh what wonders can come of it if we keep fanning the flames. Have a great week!
