Tell Me Your Current

I have missed you!
I became hyperthyroid after my son's wedding.  He is good and I am getting better.  Someone asked me what it felt like-I think of being like riding a roller coaster, for too long.  Yes, lots of panic and jangled nerves.   I think I am more a Tilt-o-Whirl kinda girl.

I found out yesterday my daughter's second session of summer classes are online.  So, now I am redoing our FROG into a bedroom.  Angela will be home with us until August~  I have been busy moving craft stuff and hubby helped get the bed upstairs.

Today, my essay Ode to Tea is on the Bella Grace Magazine Blog-Grace Notes~  If you get a chance stop by.  This blog is dedicated to seeing the magic in life's ordinary moments.

I am borrowing this idea from the blog and would love to hear what is going on currently in your world~

Currently

The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald
WATCHING: Bloodline Season 2 on Netflix
The Republic of Tea:  Watermelon Mint Iced Tea
"Can't Stop the Feeling" - Justin Timberlake  ( I love to dance)
The quirky nature of my pet, Maggie.  She is a rig-barking at turtles, howling a tune and loves to try to juggle two toys at the same time.

I have both introvert and extrovert tendencies and  have been known to dance in public on occasion.

What is currently going on in your life?

Ella! Good to hear from you.
Sorry about the roller coaster ride. I hope your son's wedding went fine.
I only slow dance in public. Hard to mess that up.

Hi Alex-Stress-was the cause, but I am okay! It was lovely they had no rain, but after a wedding rainbow. Yes, May the 4th be with you was the theme-fun! Slow dancing music right now would be nice~ I'll stop by and see what I have missed. I hope you are doing well~
Thank you!

I'm happy the FROG is turning into a room - possibilities for later on for that artist's studio, LOL. (I know - nag, nag, nag). You'll enjoy having her home............I LOVE the DREAM art.............you are so talented.

I am reading Wolf Spirit. I was on a kick of reading about lions, then elephants, now wolves and I cry through each book as these beautiful beings are trapped, snared, poached and shot. Sigh. Heartbreaking.

I watch: old movies - so relaxing, and reliable, I know a movie I have seen before is good.

Listening to The Wyrd Sisters - because I love weird.

Nothing much happening, which is how I like it. Hobbling. Squinting. Tired. Tapping on the keys to convince myself I am still alive and someone cares. LOL.

Always nice to read you, kiddo.

Maggie looks like she could cause all sorts of trouble.

What room is the FROG?

We've missed you, Ella.

Hi L. Diane! The FROG is the Furnished Room Over the Garage. It wasn't furnished-it was the room you hide things in before crawling in the tiny Alice in Wonderland door to get to the attic. lol

Yes, you would be right! She is trying to dig our backyard up to find moles, she chases rabbits and she caught a dizzy ground bee and brought it into my house. Then she caught a frog-it fell out of her mouth and escaped. My sweet looking puppy is full of mischief~
Thank you, Diane I have missed all of you, too.

Sherry-Dream art is a dryer sheet-lol! I think my art is between gift and curse. I was caught keeping Yogi tea tags-they have cool sayings on them-like: Life is a chance. Love is infinity. Grace is reality. Oh, Sherry, it must be hard to read those stories-at times~ I like weird, I will have to check them out~ I agree, so fun to revisit some of the films-that inspired us, calmed us and made us feel happy~ I love that idea~ You are sweet-thank you!

FROG--good acronym for such a room!
Thanks for stopping by my post. I had not seen your name for awhile.
I understand hyperthyroid after such an event. There is the uuuuppp and then the long slide down.

Hi Susan,
Yes, it feels like I fell off the coaster and I am riding the Merry-go-round~ How are you? I know I love that acronym~ Thank you, for visiting me! I hope to blog more. I have been cleaning, clearing, tugging and lugging-trying to get ready. My daughter hasn't lived at home for two years. Holiday visits maybe three weeks-adjustment here I come! I am excited, but I have a writing routine now....wonder how that will work?!

You certainly sound busy with this and that. I've had my own medical situations, but yesterday the doctor gave me a clean bill of health and told me to go on our vacation and have fun. We'll be leaving on our month long trip on July 11th to see grandkids and family and we plan to have fun.

Hi Lee,
Congrats, on the great news! I am glad to hear you are doing well~ I hope you and yours have a wonderful time~ Sounds exciting! I am happy for you~ Thanks for visiting me!
It was beyond nuts, from dog bite and ending up in a doggy ER-my son's dog. His bathroom was leaking water to the apartment below. We wonder if the mold is what caused his illness?! Then three days before the wedding he came to stay with us-mom n' dad-because they were redoing the bathroom. I watched his dog and the hound got bit and ended up in a doggy ER until 1 am. I was making the wedding flowers and still needed to finish them-it was beyond crazy~ The wedding was beautiful, no rain and they had a wedding rainbow- Yay, for the happy ending and beautiful beginning~

OE-Thank you! I will be by to visit you~ I love your thought provoking posts and need to get back to blogging~ Bloggers are the most generous people-I know~ Yes, thank you!!

Hi Ella! I enjoyed your
Grace Notes post and
it reminded me that I
follow you and that I'd
not been here for a while.
(Apparently, either had
you!) My currents:

Reading: Cold Comfort Farm
Watching: Orange is the New Black
(which is equal parts compelling
and icky at the same time)
Drinking: Coconut green tea or
margaritas
Listening: Lord Huron

I can't remember the last one : )

Feel better and ENJOY the summer!

Oh my. Life changes completely when you aren't feeling well, eh? I'm so glad you're getting back on track and hope this fall with your daughter home is epic. =) I hate it when my kids are gone and am wildly dreading the day they leave for good.

Hi Vicki-I hope summer is kind to you and you are enJOYing your family! Thank you, so much-I owe you some tea mail~ I like our ritual~ Yes, my college girl is home doing online classes. It is nice to have our nest partial full~ Thank you!

Suzanne-Thank you, for the lovely comment! Oh, that tea sounds yummy~ I am behind on Orange is the New Black. I will get caught up. My daughter and I stared Good Witch on Netflix. It balances the craziness of Bloodline. So, we watch calm, crazy, calm-lol. Your book sounds intriguing. I might be adding that to my list. Thank you, for sharing! You enJOY your summer, too~ I will come visit you~

Crystal-Thank you! Yes, enJOY all of it-time goes so, fast! It is wonderful to have her here until August~ She is studying-online classes, but we find time to sip tea, garden and giggle~ I hope you are having a wonderful summer! Congrats, on your success~
