U is for Universe

U is for Universe.

We all  owe ourselves a peaceful universe and deserve mindful escapes.
I try to schedule mine like an appointment and add these time outs  to my To-do list.

Lately, my universe is too fast.  I feel overwhelmed with should, could and would I- in my life.
I am making wedding decorations and feel fear building like the moon playing tug of war with the ocean's tides.  So, I am going to take these moments and focus on something I enjoy.  Panic never  me get anywhere.  I feel like the spiraling energy inside this hands-like a dog chasing his tail.

Funny, that childhood song is playing in my head:  "He's got the whole world in his hands."

What simple joys help you cope with stress and calm your universe?

Take some time-outs to recharge.
That's one of the many reasons I play guitar.

Things are happening so fast business-wise right now and my to-do list is massive. Sometimes I just have to retreat to a few minutes of searching for photos on Pinterest. And yes, I am a sucker for the cute kitties.

A walk in the woods, patting the dogs, swinging on my porch swing........hang in there, kiddo. The wedding will be beautiful!

Definitely my boyfriend and my family. They definitely help cope with my stress and calm my universe! I love this post. Have a lovely day :)
Taking my dog, Gracie,
for a walk down the street,
no matter the weather,
helps alleviate anxiety.
I breathe deeply and
truly stop to SEE the
world that can so
easily flash by during
a busy, stressful day.

Sending kind thoughts
and warm hugs that
you will find your calm
in a choppy sea!

To re-charge means I have to lean back and let God's hands hold me completely.

Writing fiction and listening to music are a couple of things I do to unwind.

Good luck with the wedding decorations making!

Meditation can help, but I'm not very good at doing that. It requires being still for a while!

I pull out a favorite book or listen to favorite songs. Or go on a walk. Sometimes you gotta hit Pause.

Try praying the Rosary and gettn a font of Holy Water next to where you pray. You're a Roamin' Cat, arent ya? Roman Catholic? If not, dont ya think it's time to introduce your family to the Trinity?
